Responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that power instances of our software in AWS and Azure, used by our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing an Ecosystem
    Be a part of the team that develop our software products C2MS and AuthStack.

  • Using Orchestration Tooling
    Deploying infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform.

  • SecOps and Code Quality
    Learn and use SecOps and Code Quality tools to help maintain consistent quality of delivery, such as SonarQube and OpenVAS.

  • Access Control
    Building scalable and fault-tolerant systems for access control, such as VPCs, VPNs and RBAC managed services.

  • Cloud Agnostic Infrastructure
    Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes Clusters both on-prem and in the Cloud with a Cloud-agnostic mindset.

  • Scalable Fault-Tolerant Platforms
    Building services that can support billions of transactions and messages while maintaining a low footprint.

  • Working with the FinTech and InsurTech Industries
    Working with cutting-edge technology on exciting digital transformation projects with the FinTech/InsurTech space.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Cloud Experience
    AWS, Azure or equivalent experience is required. Certification is a bonus, but not a requirement.

  • Hashicorp Products
    Terraform experience is highly desirable. Boundary, Vault and Consul also beneficial, but not a requirement.

  • CI/CD Pipeline
    Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines within GitLab or equivalent.

  • Agile Experience
    An understanding and experience with working in Agile, preferably with JIRA, Confluence and Git.

  • Containerization
    Comfortable with applications based on mini and micro-service architecture (Docker, ContainerD, Kubernetes).

  • Serverless Processing
    An understanding of serverless platforms (OpenWhisk), queueing and asynchronous processing is beneficial.

  • Building and Maintaining an Ecosystem
    Willing to work on long-term projects and help build and improve a core ecosystem, rather than short-term agency work.

  • Language Skills
    Comfortable working and communicating in English.

  • Learning
    Willing to learn and improve on a daily basis and maintain intellectual curiosity.

  • Specific experience and qualifications will depend on the level you're applying for.

Our areas of focus

  • Building and maintaining infrastructure in the Cloud.

  • Deploying and managing various database clusters.

  • Designing, configuring and then reviewing analytics and monitoring tools.

  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ensuring uptime and stability of the clusters and micro-services.

  • Configuring auto scaling policies for burstable services.

  • Migrating previous-gen infrastructure to Kubernetes and Cloud.

  • Using SecOps and Code Quality tooling to find and prevent problems.

    Build and migrate the remaining non-K8 based clusters to Kubernetes

    Migrating the organisation from Google Cloud services to Azure and M365

  • Azure RBAC Services

    Implementation of the latest and greatest RBAC services for server and container access

  • Command and Control

    Assisting with the development and implementation of our C&C (Command and Control) system

    Implementation of a unified APM to help with operational efficiency

  • SecOps

    Expanding SecOps services and specialisation both internally and for clients

  • OpenWhisk Serverless

    Implementation of OpenWhisk serverless framework and MIgration of certain functions

    MIgration of existing queueing systems to a unified Kafka platform

  • Hardware Consolidation and Upgrading

    Unifying of the remaining in-house development infrastructure
