What you'll be doing

  • Building Automated Tests
    Developing a suite of automated tests which form part of the pipeline during every software merge request and release.

  • Site Reliability Engineering
    More advanced engineers progress to SRE responsibilities which includes analysis of APM data, optimising database queries and indexes, stress testing and holistic benchmarking.

  • Develop Test Plans, Strategies and Scheduling
    Working independently to develop testing plans, strategies and coordinating efforts with other teams.

  • Collaborating with Solutions Architects
    Working closely with Solutions Architects to design and deploy automated tests for all new functionality and signing off on new updates.

  • Documenting and Reporting
    Keeping accurate and detailed reports to help with trend and regression analysis.

  • Working with the FinTech and InsurTech Industries
    Working with bleeding-edge technology on exciting digital transformation projects with the FinTech/InsurTech space.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Automated Test Creation
    Proficient in developing, documenting and executing test cases.

  • REST API and GraphQL Testing
    Experience with REST API testing. GraphQL testing is a desirable bonus.

  • Programming Experience
    Proficiency in any relevant programming language is considered highly desirable.

  • Agile Experience
    An understanding and experience with working in Agile, preferably with JIRA, Confluence and Git.

  • Building and maintaining an ecosystem
    Willing to work on long-term projects and help build and improve a core ecosystem, rather than short-term agency work.

  • Language Skills
    Comfortable communicating and documenting in English.

  • Learning
    Willing to learn and improve on a daily basis and maintain intellectual curiosity.

  • Specific experience and qualifications will depend on the level you're applying for.

  • Data pipelines and automated ETL services.

  • Scalable, auditable and immutable data storage engines.

  • Configurable mini and micro-services for a variety of automation use-cases.

  • Underwriting workbench and toolsets.

  • Banking integration services (credit card, direct debit, premium finance).

  • Quote and bind platforms for automated insurance policy management (B2B and B2C).

  • Smart-payment solutions, including configurable commission engines.

  • Dynamic Contracts generation, configured through workflows.

  • Scalable pricing engines, consumed by the UK's largest aggregators.

  • Configurable workflow and logic engines.

  • Integration services with third-parties (Lloyd's, Aggregators, Third-Party software vendors).

  • Identity and Access Management, including multi-factor tools (software and hardware).

  • Smart deployment systems, working in collaboration with DevOps.
