What you'll be doing

  • Engaging at all stages
    From helping to set up contextual demos for the sales department, through to extracting information (business processes and user stories) from the client and partners, and helping design and implement the final delivery of C2MS and accompanying products in collaboration with other teams.

  • Feedback Loop
    Using knowledge and experiences, ensure that a continuous feedback loop drives best practice design and architecture to deliver an optimal customer experience.

  • Specification Design
    Translate high-level client concepts and ideas into outcomes, project plans and specifications that can be used by the Development department to produce working code.

  • Problem-Solving
    Brainstorming solutions for problems that may not have been defined and may not yet exist, in collaboration with clients, partners and internal teams.

  • Knowledge-Transfer
    Engaging in training and upskilling of the various teams within each project, with a focus on written documentation.

  • Working with the FinTech and InsurTech Industries
    Working with bleeding-edge technology on exciting digital transformation projects with the FinTech/InsurTech space.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Computer Science education or equivalent work experience
    An understanding of how web-based software works along with an engineering background. An analytical character who displays critical thinking, enjoys abstraction and engineering automation.

  • Language Skills
    Proficiency in English, both written and spoken and can communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Technical Documentation and Specifications
    Experience with producing technical documentations that can be broken down into both user stories and development tasks.

  • SOA Architecture, REST API modelling and GraphQL
    Previous experience working within SOA ecosystems, designing REST APIs and GraphQL schemas are all highly desirable.

  • Serverless Processing
    An understanding of serverless frameworks, queueing and asynchronous processing is highly desirable.

  • Agile Experience
    An understanding and experience with working in Agile, preferably with JIRA, Confluence and Git. The Solutions Team are an agile and engaged group of individuals that embraces open communication, knowledge, transparency and automation.

  • Building and maintaining an ecosystem
    Willing to work on long-term projects and help build and improve a core ecosystem, rather than short-term agency work.

  • Learning
    Willing to learn and improve on a daily basis and maintain intellectual curiosity.

  • Specific experience and qualifications will depend on the level you're applying for.

  • Building technical specifications and user stories for many aspects of each project.

  • Designing data pipelines and ETL specifications.

  • Customising Cloud Cluster templates for each use-case.

  • Designing mini and micro-services for a variety of automation use-cases.

  • Specifying and documenting Banking integration services.

  • Collaborating on the design and implementation of Quote and bind platforms.

  • Specifying and configuring Smart-payment solutions, including configurable commission engines.

  • Designing Dynamic Contract templates and configuring workflows.

  • Designing and automating rating algorithms to automate existing insurance products.

  • Documenting and configuring workflow and logic engines.

  • Working in collaboration with various teams to enable integration services with third-parties.

  • Specifying and configuring Identity and Access Management systems.

  • Using Smart deployment systems, working in collaboration with DevOps.
