Navigating the Dashboard
Dashboard Overview
The C2MS dashboard is your central command centre. Upon login, you are presented with a customisable overview showing key metrics, recent activity, and quick-access links to the modules you use most frequently. The interface is divided into three main areas: the left-hand navigation sidebar, the top action bar, and the main content panel.
Navigation Sidebar
The sidebar provides access to all C2MS modules, organised by functional area. Primary sections include Policies, Claims, Underwriting, Reports, and Administration. Each section expands to reveal sub-modules — for example, the Claims section contains FNOL, Active Claims, Reserves, and Settlements. You can collapse the sidebar to icon-only mode for more screen space.
Top Action Bar
Global search — find policies, claims, or contacts by reference number, name, or keyword
Quick create button — start a new quote, claim, or contact record from anywhere
Notification bell — view alerts for assigned tasks, approaching deadlines, and system updates
User menu — access your profile, preferences, and sign-out option
Main Content Panel
The content panel displays the active module or page you are working in. Dashboard widgets can be rearranged via drag-and-drop, and each widget supports drill-down for detailed views. Common widgets include Claims Pipeline, Policy Renewals Due, Premium Income Summary, and Team Workload Distribution.
