Display and Theme Preferences
Personalising Your Interface
C2MS supports multiple display themes and layout options so you can work comfortably regardless of your environment or personal preferences. All display settings are stored per-user and synchronised across devices, meaning your preferences follow you whether you log in from your desktop, laptop, or tablet.
Dark Mode
Enable dark mode from Settings > Display > Theme. Dark mode reduces eye strain in low-light environments and can improve battery life on OLED displays. You can set the theme to Light, Dark, or Auto. When set to Auto, C2MS follows your operating system preference and switches themes automatically at sunrise and sunset.
Language and Regional Settings
Interface language — currently supported: English, Afrikaans, French, Portuguese, and German
Date format — choose between DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, or YYYY-MM-DD conventions
Number format — configure decimal and thousands separators for currency displays
Time zone — all timestamps in the interface are converted to your selected time zone
Display Density
Choose between Comfortable, Compact, and Dense display modes to control the spacing and size of interface elements. Comfortable mode provides generous padding and larger click targets, ideal for touch-screen use. Dense mode maximises the amount of data visible on screen, which is preferred by power users working with large data sets in the policy register or claims list views.
