Configuring Alerts and Digests
C2MS provides a flexible notification system that keeps you informed about events relevant to your role without overwhelming you with noise. Notifications can be delivered via in-app alerts, email, or both, and you can configure different preferences for each event type. Access notification settings from Settings > Notifications in your profile menu.
Notification Categories
Assignments — receive alerts when claims, policies, or tasks are assigned to you
Approvals — get notified when items in your approval queue require action
Mentions — triggered when a colleague tags you in a comment or note
System alerts — platform maintenance windows, release notes, and security advisories
Deadline reminders — approaching due dates on tasks, renewals, and SLA targets
Email Digest Options
Instead of receiving individual emails for each event, you can opt for a daily or weekly digest that summarises all activity in a single message. Digests are sent at your preferred time and include links back to the relevant items in C2MS. This is particularly useful for managers who want a consolidated view of team activity without constant interruptions.
You can also configure quiet hours during which no notifications are delivered. Events occurring during quiet hours are queued and delivered when the quiet period ends. This is ideal for users across different time zones who do not wish to be disturbed outside working hours.
